The Love of God. [1]

Thursday, October 11, 2012

Q. Why did God make you?

A. God made me to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him for ever in heaven.[2]

Wait…there is more…

God said, ‘let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild beasts and all the reptiles that crawl upon the earth’.

God created man in the image of himself, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them.

God blessed them saying to them, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and conquer it. Be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven and all living animals on earth.’…And so it was. God saw all he had made, and indeed it was very good. Evening came and morning came: the sixth day.[3]

2. Yes, God so loved the world so much

that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost but may have eternal life.[4]

3. The proof that you are sons is that God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts: the Spirit that cries, ‘Abba, Father’, and it is this that makes you a son, you are not a slave any more; and if God has made you a son , then he has made you heir.[5]

4. Jesus said to his disciples:

"As the Father loves me, so I also love you.

Remain in my love.

If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,

just as I have kept my Father's commandments

and remain in his love.

"I have told you this so that my joy might be in you

and your joy might be complete.

This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.

No one has greater love than this,

to lay down one's life for one's friends.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

I no longer call you slaves,

because a slave does not know what his master is doing.

I have called you friends,

because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.

It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you

and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain,

so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.

This I command you: love one another."[6]

5 For your Maker is your husband,

the Lord of hosts is his name;

and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,

the God of the whole earth he is called.

6 For the Lord has called you

like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit,

like a wife of youth when she is cast off,

says your God.

7 For a brief moment I forsook you,

but with great compassion I will gather you.

8 In overflowing wrath for a moment

I hid my face from you,

but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,

says the Lord, your Redeemer.

25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; For stern as death is love, relentless as the nether world is devotion; its flames are a blazing fire. Deep waters cannot quench love, nor floods sweep it away. Were one to offer all he owns to purchase love, he would be roundly mocked.

In summary:

God made us through God for God, the God through whom the world might be saved and this God sends us God (Altissimum donum Dei), another advocate, from God to conform us into the image of God by whom we will come to God.[7]

His Mother Mary, our Mother…[8]

…be transformed into what we consume,[9]

He wishes that we enter into His Joy to the full.[10]

Ah!…the love of God!

ut amares in nobis quod diligebas in Filio
For you so loved the world that in your mercy you sent us the Redeemer, to live like us in all things but sin, so that you might love in us what you loved in your Son, by whose obedience we have been restored to those gifts of yours that, by sinning, we had lost in disobedience. [11]

[1] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. – GREETING, The Introductory Rites, THE ORDER OF MASS.

[4] Jn3:16 and ‘Since God did not spare his own Son, but gave him up to benefit us all, we may be certain, after such a gift, that he will not refuse anything he can give.’ (Cf. A hymn to God’s love Rm8:31-37)

[5] Cf. Ga4:6-7 and “My son, you are with me always and all I have is yours….”(Cf. Lk15:31)

[7] Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is very deep indeed (Cf. 1Tm3:14-16) and Even angels long to catch a glimpse of these things. (Cf. 1P1:12)

[8] John 19:26-27: 26 When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” 27 Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.[took her to his own home: Joseph must now have been dead.]

Though father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me (Ps27:10)

Revelation in the Night AM of Saturday, September 13, 2025: Mother Mary is the True Mother, more truer than Eve and our earthly mother, real or adoptive, she has given her children with instruction that they take care of them for her.

For those whose family in which they were born in is now irretrievably broken or, after they left this family to form their own and the latter is also irretrievably broken, The LORD Jesus Christ through Mother Mary His Might now says to you:

Have no fear for I am with you I will be your shield Go now and leave your home land for I will give you a home. - Yahweh, the Faithful One | Dan Schutte

In this home given by The LORD Jesus Christ, Mary is Mother and she has her daughters for her Son.

This is the way Mother Mary intercedes for us when we are debilitated by sin and near spiritual death, “My Son, the one you love is ill.” [Cf. John 11:3 (RSVCE)]

[9] Cf. PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time.

[10] Cf.

Matthew 25:19-23 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’

And

John 15:10-12 (RSVCE) 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
