I). Preparation of self (girl)

BLESSED BE YOUR PURITY

Blessed be your purity,

May it be blessed forever,

For no less than God takes delight

In such exalted beauty.

To you, heavenly princess,

Holy Virgin Mary, I offer on this day my whole heart, life and soul.

Look upon me with compassion;

Do not leave me, my Mother.

CONSECRATION

Mary, my Queen, my Mother

I consecrate to you my eyes, my ears, my mouth and my entire self.

O Mother because I am your own

Keep me and defend me as your own property and possession. Amen.

LORD our God, you are the one Lord. May we love you with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength. And may we love our neighbor as you have loved us.

II). Preparing him

St. Joseph, my father and lord, please send me the boy destined for me from all eternity; a boy who loves God above all things. May he be good and pure, handsome and rich [1]. May I not take him and him me out of any lustful motive but in singleness of heart. Prepare him then good father and fashion him after your own heart.

May we have many God-fearing, intelligent, gifted, beautiful and handsome children who will be like brothers and sisters to us.

Pray for us to God so that He may be kind enough to have pity on him and me and bring us to old age together[2].

Let the Archangel Raphael take this prayer to you.

St. Raphael, pray for us.
